A free Star Citizen companion app for Windows. Plot multi-stop routes and contracts, navigate in 3D, find profitable trades with live community prices, look up every ship, part and piece of gear, and trade and organise with other players, all in one place.
What it does
Everything the game doesn't give you for planning a trip.
Route planner
Plan stops across Stanton and beyond, in order, with distances and quantum travel between each.
3D navigation
See where you are relative to your destination. Quick search any location to take you through the verse.
Waypoints
Save your own spots from /showlocation and come back to them any time.
Trading
Commodity prices and trade routes from UEX, plus fresh reports from Quantum datarunners within minutes.
Fleet & vehicles
Ship and component info, your fleet and loadouts, with an optional encrypted backup.
Community data
Datarunners share prices, station positions and pictures, and earn ranks for approved reports.
Stats
Data on every vehicle, component, weapon, piece of gear, mission and resource, plus the star systems: planets, moons, stations, outposts, spaceports and cities.
Social
Friends and messages, and a profile other players can open from the leaderboard, the marketplace or their org.
Marketplace & reviews
Buy and sell items and services for aUEC, with optional escrow for big deals. After a trade, rate each other with stars, quick tags and a short review that builds trust.
Orgs
Your org's page with a banner, a formatted About page, ranks with icons, members and a calendar of events with crew seats. Real RSI orgs verify ownership and link to their RSI page.
Datarunner jobs
Report terminal prices to UEX in a few clicks, take up to five jobs at once (stale terminals, missing stations, planet alignments, pictures) and climb the leaderboard.
Gear, consumables & cart
Weapons, armor, clothing, food, drinks, medical items and keys, with where to buy them (cheapest or closest to you) and where loot drops. Put it all in the cart and get one shopping trip.
Take a look
A few of the screens you'll use most.

How it works
Up and running in a couple of minutes.
Download and install
Grab the latest installer from GitHub Releases and run it.
Create a Quantum account
Sign up in the app (Profile, top left) or on this site. An account is needed for everything that talks to the community server: datarunning, pictures and positions, friends and messages, the marketplace, orgs and backups.
Link your UEX keys
Add your UEX Bearer Token and Secret Key to your account. They unlock UEX prices, trade routes and vehicle data, and link your UEX name so your reports count on Quantum and on the leaderboard.
Questions
Most likely questions.
Is Quantum free?
Yes, free, with no ads and nothing to buy. Its code is open source under the MIT License on GitHub.
Can I build my own version and use the community server?
You're welcome to change and build Quantum's code, but only official, unmodified releases from GitHub may connect to the community server, and modified builds are refused automatically. Point your own build at your own server or turn community features off. This keeps players' accounts and shared data safe. See the Terms of use.
Is it allowed? Does it touch the game?
Quantum never changes, injects into or reads the game's memory. It reads the game's own log file (Game.log) for things like where you are and which contracts you've accepted, and uses the position the game prints when you type /showlocation. It's an outside tool, like a map on a second screen.
Why does it read Game.log?
That's how it knows your system, location and contracts without you typing them in: when you land, jump or accept a contract, the game writes a line there and Quantum picks it up. It all happens on your PC.
Do I need a Quantum account?
For the community features, yes: sending prices, pictures and positions, taking jobs, friends and messages, the marketplace, orgs and backups all need a free Quantum account with your UEX name linked. The map, routes, contracts and waypoints work without one.
Do I need a UEX account?
For trading and datarunning, yes: UEX prices, trade routes and vehicle data use your own UEX keys, and your UEX name is what your reports count under. Everything else works without it.
What does the community server store about me?
Only what the features you use need: your account (email, username and profile), the reports and pictures you share as a datarunner (with a smaller copy of each report's screenshot for the review team, deleted after 14 days), and, if you use them, your friends and messages, marketplace listings, trades and reviews, and orgs. It also notes which build of Quantum connects (to keep modified copies out) and a record of the emails it sends you (never their contents). Your UEX key is used once to confirm who you are. Backups are optional and encrypted on your PC before they're sent, so the server can't read them. Your IP address is used briefly to enforce rate limits and stop abuse. You can download or delete your data from your account page. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
Which systems does it cover?
Stanton, Pyro and Nyx, including routes that cross between them through the jump gateways.
I found a bug. Where do I report it?
Use Report a bug in the app's Settings, or open an issue on GitHub.
Built on community data
Quantum wouldn't exist without the publicly available resources below.
Commodity prices, terminals, trade routes and vehicle data, and the datarunner network Quantum reports to.
Ship, component and mission details built from the game files.
Valalol's navigation database: the positions behind the map and the routes.
